About Us

Moving for a Reason, Moving with the Story

In 2021, my son Platon was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. He was 5 years old.
That changed everything for me. I couldn’t control the diagnosis. But I could control what I built next — and I decided to build something that meant something.
Later on, me and a good friend of mine Cristian started Continental Moving Company. A small, local moving company in Boston. We show up, we work hard, and we take care of your things like they’re our own.
Right now, as you’re reading this, I’m probably driving one of our trucks.

We move with purpose

Every move we do, we donate a portion to MS research — supporting the work of Dr. Benson at Boston Children’s Hospital, one of the only specialists in the country focused on pediatric MS. Feel free to join our mission here.

Platon is 10 now. He helps me on some jobs on weekends, so sometimes you can meet us in person if your move falls on weekends. He’s brave, curious, and honestly a better writer than me (he helps write our postcards). We’re a family company in every sense of the word.

We Also Help Fight Hunger Across North America

Move For Hunger is a national non-profit organization that mobilizes transportation networks to deliver surplus food to communities in need.

By partnering with Move for Hunger initiative we give people the opportunity to donate their non-perishable food when they move. This way we believe we can eliminate food waste during the relocation process and help others in need.

Why does this matter? Every year, millions of Americans relocate. If just one pound of food was recovered from each move, it could create millions of meals for those in need across the country.

If you need movers, we’d truly appreciate the opportunity. We’re small, we’re local, and we’re working hard to grow — one move at a time.
